Not every import travels like a carton of clothes. Large, heavy or valuable items, such as machinery, equipment, vehicles or solar systems, need a few extra checks. Ask us before you pay your supplier.
Five things to check
- Size and weight. Get the exact dimensions and weight per piece. Very dense cargo can be billed by weight instead of volume.
- Packing. Heavy or fragile items often need crating or reinforced packing. Ask your supplier what they will use.
- Permits and rules. Some goods, including vehicles, batteries and certain electrical or telecom equipment, are regulated in the Philippines. Confirm what applies before you order.
- Documents. Make sure the invoice describes the item specifically, with model, material and use, and that the value matches what you paid.
- Delivery access. Tell us the delivery address type and any limits, such as narrow roads, stairs or a loading dock, so we can plan the right truck.
